Raghupathi Sringeri is  the brother of Dr. Satish Sringeri. Dr Satish was an eminent cartoonist and caricaturist.Dr. Satish began drawing curved lines right from his school days when he was studying at the Abhinava Ramananda High School, Kigga, a remote village near Sringeri.

He continued the passion during college days at Sri Jagadguru Chandrashekhara Bharathi Memorial College, Sringeri, and ALN Rao Memorial Ayurveda College, Gadag. A postgraduate in Ayurveda medicine, Dr. Satish briefly worked as a teacher, as a scientist with a pharmaceutical company before undertaking own practice.

Dr. Satish regularly contributed cartoons, which were full of wit and humour, to Kannada daily Samyukta Karnataka. He had also arranged exhibition of his cartoons.

He passed away on September 27, 2012.
