Raghupathi Sringeri is an Indian cartoonist of repute, having more than 15000 works of cartoons and caricatures to his credit till date.
He is a Cartoonist, Graphic designer and artist whose work spans a range of disciplines, from cartoons, caricatures, animation and illustration to Pencil/Watercolor Paintings. In addition, he is experienced in Creating Animations, Book cover designs, Tv promotions, Logos, personalized caricatures and character Design. He uses a combination of Traditional (Pencil, pen and ink, watercolour, acrylic painting, etc.) and digital tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe animate/Flash etc.
His art has been published in all major newspapers and magazines of Karnataka.Many of his cartoons have gone viral and has been used by many celebrities in their tweets and messages.
He has been associated with branding and promotion of many products.
This cartoon, showing India's map symbolically hugging a senior scientist of Indian Space Research Organization catapulted him into fame.It was created following the Indian Prime minister hugging and consoling the scientist after India's ambitious project of landing on the moon ran into trouble. This cartoon reflected the country's sentiment with its tagline " India is with you". This cartoon was tweeted and retweeted by many celebrities.
